This should be an interesting race against time. I gulped down about a third of a bottle of NyQuil a few hours ago and just woke up and took another swig.
muriel_puce tagged me and now it's time to write eight interesting things about myself.
1. Today was the first full sick day I've taken at my current job, and I'm pretty sure I didn't take a whole one in all of 2007. I don't get sick very often.
2. I got stitches for the first time in my life on Tuesday.
3. Music boxes make me want to cry. I think it's because of the movie Splash.
4. My first temp job was 3 months of data entry at the Girl Scouts, and I was pissed because I only found 5 or so cookies laying around the office, and they were the crappy shortbread logo kind. My favorites are Samoas and Thin Mints, and I like them kept in the freezer.
5. I spent three years losing 80 pounds and have gained 75 of it back. However, I get a lot more attention now as a "bear" than I ever did as a "fat college kid with long hair" so I don't sweat it too much.
6. It only takes someone saying a few words to get a song stuck in my head, but it takes up to eight times playing the song to begin to get it out. Readers of my lj will be familiar with examples such as Elevator Operator, What is Life, You Were on my Mind, It Ain't Me Babe, and Whistling in the Dark.
notlostonme probably would like to have me committed because of these and several other examples.
7. I would rather be 20 minutes early than 5 minutes late. I'm usually the first to arrive anywhere.
8. I have been shaving my head myself since 1995 or so. In all these years, the only hair care products I've owned are shampoo, a blow drier, and mustache wax. For some reason, guests have asked if I had a brush, a comb, gel, and even pomade. Pomade? Huh?
Ok, folks. If you've been tagged by someone else, whoops. If you don't want to do it, don't. I tag:

My tolerance for NyQuil is simply amazing. I haven't taken it in a year, and already on the second night I'm wide awake after what should be a lethal dose. Hopefully I won't reach some weird lucid state tonight.
