today's tidbits

I've been insanely productive today. I've done the following:
- Worked 10 hours
- Bought groceries
- Did a huge load of laundry
- Took down a load of recycling
- Did dishes
- Made myself dinner
- Replied to a bunch of replies to that meme post

Why are Q-Tips so damn hard to find in every store? I had to ask where they were when I bought them at Walgreens and I was unsuccessful finding them at QFC tonight. I didn't want to bother any employees because the store was mobbed. But I swear, it's like they try to hide them.

I might do my taxes tonight. Haven't received the phone filing thing in the mail yet but I really liked the online one I did last year. I think it was from H&R Block.

Dinner tonight was a hella good salad. I made it with salad mix, bean sprouts, peas, sharp cheddar shreds, lemon chicken, salsa, and balsamic vinaigrette. Man.

QTips are seen as a makeup accessory and always seem to be with the "cosmetic puffs" aka cotton balls. At the QFC you were most likely shopping in, they were probably in that far aisle just before the frozen cases at the end of the store. I'm surprised you didn't go upstairs to Bartell.

There are a lot of free on-line tax filing sites. I've used freetaxusa.com in the past. I liked it.

taxact.com is what i have used in the past. decent.

i am itemizing my deductions this year. I think my moving expenses and various other things will exceed the standard deduction. so i think i will just toss all my receipts at some person and have them do it for me. lol.

dude, i was in bartell's for like 20 mins and could NOT find the q-tips. so finally i asked. she said aisle 20 or 21. i searched all over, nope. there was no one to ask so i was just about to leave, when finally i caught sight of them over in aisle 17. they srsly were like hidden.

they werent with the makeup stuff nor the bath stuff. they were with baby stuff. wtfff.

I've found that Q-tips are in or near one of three places:

1) baby crap
2) make-up crap
3) mini/travel-size crap

It doesn't even make sense to put it with baby stuff. Do people with babies need to regularly wipe out their ears or something? I mean, I know they're gross little crawling germ-factories, but do their ears excrete filth, too?

I like my Q-Tips cause it feels good to stick them inside my ear, like you're not supposed to.
