I don't know, but your asking reminded me of a hilarious moment on Star Trek Voyager I saw a few days ago. Tom and Seven were on the holodeck acting out an old black-and-white space ranger serial when an intruder appeared. Seven turned off the holodeck safety protocols and blasted him with a retro ray gun!
