They are easy to make, y'know. I'll bet there's an Asian Grocer Near You what carries the little coffee thingie. Mine were cheap - less than five bucks. Just sayin'.

i am never the same. now that i am going to school, most of the time i don't drink coffee at all. If i do have some, then i will either make drip coffee at home, or go out on a weekend and get a latte or a mocha someplace. and sometimes i say screw coffee, i want tea. so maybe all of the above?

I agree. A latte is my standard now, but I do pick something else every once in a while. Why must there be so many coffee choices?

Researchers fear over half the world's coral reefs could die in less than 25 years and say global warming may at least partly to blame.

Yeah I should have also added "french press" which is what I'm actually drinking, not drip. I always screw up polls.

I chose latte, but while it's a standard, I'll pick whatever fancies my mood. I had an Iced Thai Tea the other morning. Perfect wake up.

There is drip coffee, and then there is TIM HORTON'S ... You want to be Canadian, you should know what I mean!!!

From: [identity profile] christopher575.livejournal.com
Whenever I'm in Canada I can see them from the bus or whatever, but there aren't any near where I stay. So alas, I've never experience Tim Horton's.

I call bullshit. It's almost impossible to not be near a Tim Hortons.

I've never seen one downtown in Victoria or Vancouver. Didn't see one at all in Harrison.

From: [identity profile] dawnzerly.livejournal.com
Off the top of my head I can think of 4 or 5 in downtown Vancouver and I don't even live there anymore!

Victoria, okay, you've got me there. I know there's one in Oak Bay, but I don't know about Victoria proper.

And okay, you have a point with Harrison Hot Springs, the closest one to there would be Chilliwack or Sardis. But still, it's not like you can drive out there and not find a Timmy's on the way!

Date: 2008-03-18 11:55 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] christopher575.livejournal.com
We rode a shuttle out to Harrison, it wasn't like we were on a road trip up there. Please keep in mind that I never drive and Tim Horton's is a drive-up-and-get-your-sugar-on sorta place. Right?

Date: 2008-03-19 12:09 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] dawnzerly.livejournal.com
Okay, then you get a pass on Harrison.

None of the Tim Hortons in d/t Van are drive through, iirc. Downtown is not designed for the driver, it's designed for the pedestrian. And it's possible to walk from anywhere d/t to a Tim Hortons.

I'll make it a point to find one the next time I go. Call off the hounds.

To be fair, if you like Seattle coffee, you won't likely enjoy Tim Hortons.

I love it. For me, it's a perfect cup of coffee. But I will only drink Ladro when in Seattle, so what do I know?

During the week I drink one cup of coffee when I first get into the office (I pick it up on my way in, drip). On the weekends I drink tea.

What kind of coffee *don't* I like?

Date: 2008-03-19 01:26 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] cattycritic.livejournal.com
That is the shorter question.

If I'm in my normal kitchen with my own roasted beans, I have French press.

I wasn't completely unpacked nor did I have any coffee roasted the other morning. But I found my tiny Turkish coffeepot and the sugar. Solution: Turkish!

I also found my sweetened condensed milk and Vietnamese coffee thingie. Solution: Ca Phe Sua!

What if I'm out of everything coffee related? My custom masala chai!

What if I'm lazy? Latte at work!

What if I'm EXTRA lazy? Drip coffee at work!

WHEE CAFFEINE GODDAMMIT
