It doesn't make a lot of sense to worry about a first date and making a really great first impression. If a guy wants to date me, he needs to be into the regular old me, not a nervous, dressed up, overly polite version of me.

In other words, it makes no sense to set someone up for disappointment.

I'm pretty easy to be around anyway.

I did this once and it totally backfired. On a first date people are expecting you to be acting better than you normally do so when you don't, it (can) make it seem like you're not actually interested. Being totally fake is one thing, looking and acting like a total schlep who couldn't care less is another, and in the middle is the happy place.

But I agree that it doesn't make sense to worry about it.

Yes, he's for job interviews.

I'd say find a happy medium. You want the guy to think you put a little effort into your appearance before meeting him and not have him think you came from a day of changing oil at Jiffy Lube or something.

My hair is nice and waxy and I've chosen a spot with extremely flattering lighting.

Just as long as he doesn't expect you to be vegetarian or jewish!

Unlike SOME PEOPLE, I probably couldn't pull off pretending to be Jewish. Ha.

No ,you could totally pull it off. You would just have to grow two, long curls from you temples and grow your beard down the your feet. A black hat would also add in the effect.

I hate first dates and/or early "getting to know you" dating. If a person loves me, they have to love the me-without-make-up-in-converse me.

Act as crazy as you want. It weeds out the uptight ones.

or it leaves the ones who love drama, and who will create it when there isn't any.

I guess by crazy I just mean not hiding the things that make C575 unique and fun. :)
