Apr. 23rd, 2008 09:20 amAnother thing that was bound to happen sooner or later while I rip my CDs was coming across some that make me really sad. I just have to remind myself that I'm sad about a time that wasn't as great as I always made it out to be, and move on. And realize that I'm having the time of my life in the process.

Date: 2008-04-23 04:51 pm (UTC)Everything went into a MySQL database, and I wrote about 10kb worth of scripts to make the whole collection internet-viewable (http://music.washout.net).
Since then I've ripped just about every CD I could get my hands on, and have made most of my music purchases online. I only buy physical CDs when certain songs/albums are not available online (such as one-90s-hit-wonder Deadeye Dick (http://music.washout.net/album.cgi?albumid=15)).
