Shannon Larratt is leaving BME. This blows my mind. I remember when he used to post ASCII art of various piercings on rec.arts.bodyart so that people would be able to know what each one was in a text-only era. The site came shortly after and is a huge empire/resource today.

I can't imagine building such a big, personal business and leaving it, but I also bet that it's hard to commit to staying at the same site for the rest of one's life.

i swear that Shannon just happens to be one of the gifted humans that just has more capabilities and energy than the majority of us to go further and do more with success. i envy him
