My current first-world problem is not being able to enjoy my million-dollar view because the weather is so sunny and nice out, and it'll get too hot in here if I open the shades.

i didn't have curtains for the first three months I lived here. Those huge bay windows were, unbeknownst to me, just giant glasses into my layaboutness in my home.

I finally got the ones I have when my old lady neighbor stopped working her walker to say to me that I have quite a place, it must be like living in a fishbowl where everyone can see you all the time.

if it gets too hot I open the window.

Thankfully the sun went down. This place heats up in an instant if it's really bright out, even with the window open.
