You obviously haven't seen Scary Movie 4 (which you should) because Brenda is in it... alive. Plus, she died in the first one, remember? She is the Kenny of the Scary Movie franchise.

I don't remember her dying in the first one. But I did check imdb after I posted that and saw that she was listed in part 4.

How did she die in part 1?

She was at the movies and the killer was sitting behind her. She was being loud on her cellphone, eating her own food she snuck in. The killer was going to kill her but instead the angry movie patrons all whipped out their own knives and stabbed her a la Jada Pinkett in Scream 2.
