In my family potato salad has mustard, pepper, celery, and the tiny shrimp. Grandma calls it Vegas style but I don't know why.

Today I put in mayo, sriracha, soy sauce, and thai basil. I need to actually get more spices and things at some point. I really want some german potato salad sometime soon.

Partway through eating this batch, I may add some vegetables. We'll see.

They're potatoes. I don't know what kind, though, because every time I buy them, they're in a bag with a few other kinds, unlabeled.

Yeah, I love those purple ones. There's this dude at the farmers market who's got like 10 different kinds of potatoes..... rad.
