...because my lower back is spasming like crazy today. I've lined up a ride home later because I'm not even sure I could make it all the way to a bus stop. It would be very bad for me financially to miss any work, so I hope this passes soon.

How I hear you, C. My lower back has been giving me hard times for some 15 years now. Sometimes it's really painful and only really strong pain killers help. Sometimes it just goes away after a few days.

No clue. I've had lower back issues for years but even when I had a jolt before it never lasted like it is today.
