Lunch break

I posted a couple of times during my lunchtime walk today, but they didn't make it.

First, I rode the elevator down with a couple of girls in awful parkas. I didn't notice until after I took this picture that another girl was wearing one across the street. She's to the right of what you can see here.



Then I found a leaf going all :D at me.

just because youre not cold doesnt mean other people arent.

i agree about the fur though.


they might be kinda ugly (i guess? i dont see them that way, but i could see where someone would) but im not sure what a better alternative would be? i have a peacoat-ish style coat that im wearing now but its really not all weather. i want to get something that will be better for the really rainy/slushy/snowy days so that i dont end up all wet.


trying to think what a more fashionable alternative is. a puffy jacket? those are uglier to me because people either look like thugs or else like marshmallows in them. tell me what to get or else im going to get a parka. PARKA !!!!!

I think a better choice is something thin and warm and sporty. Think REI.

boo i am not very sporty and dont really care for REI :( but i will consider it! who knows if ill even get anything at all hehe - i have been looking everywhere i go though because i am hoping to find something.

i really like the shape/style of this one but not thrilled with the color choices. also i would never spend $400 or even $200 for a coat like that. (i dont ski or anything so i dont need all those fancy extras.)
