I'm just glad we have voice posting. Whenever I make a video I am always worried about reflectoporn.

Oh God. Still laughing at this and the visual cortex comment. The codeine has rendered me unable to stop. Please, send Hamblers to me right away.

It makes me wish we had a blender party to go to :(

Well, I have some enteric coated aspirin and the last few minutes of Fringe! That's almost a party!

Oh dang. I watched the first two episodes of that and went no further. Should I continue? I mean, is it worthwhile? I have recently fallen in love with Weeds and am almost done with all my archives of that, so I need backup shows for while I do homework.

And I had to look up "enteric". Obviously I have not taken my Pharmacology class yet. +5 Jessica-stumping points to Chris D!

Woo!

So, the first season of fringe was all "act one" and introducing the characters, setting, and premise.
this new season is all about the weirdest parts of the x-files.

The short answer is: Yes, you should. It's like the x-files without any af that annoying alien crap.

Oh awesome. I *loved* the X-Files back when there were possibilities for ghosts/weird creatures/generally creepy things, but when it went all-alien, I got bored.

You rule. Please also feel free to give any movie recommendations for stuff you really liked in the past year. And also if you have a self-tested recipe for pho, I would like that. Pho recipe so optional.

I don't trust home-made pho.
I am not Vietnamese.

Movies? Shit, I haven't really watched much in the past year. Lot's of TV. I liked the crap out of Alias, even though it had a habit of going all "Felicity" at least once an episode.

Ok, a friend gave me a recipe for pho that is supposed to be really good. When I make it, I will rate it properly and then if it is super good, I will either email you the recipe or FedEx you a bowl of it. The anise is key!

I don't think I ever watched that. Huh. Is it like "delicious Scott Speedman" Felicityish or "girl with ugly hairs cuts hair and makes it even uglier than before" Felicityish? I guess either way, it's still better than actually watching Felicity.

A movie I highly recommend: Vantage Point. It was 100 times better than I thought it was going to be.

"This is a T.V. Show about Spies in the CIA, but every so often we have to put in a ham fisted romantic story line because the only thing JJ Abrahams has done before this show was Felicity."

I keep wanting to watch Vantage Point. Probably because of Matthew Fox.

Why have we not figured out a way for you to say things like that for a living?

And do watch it. Matthew Fox is actually really incredible in it. Very un-Party of Fiveish. I want to high-five him for the fine job he did in that movie.

I think I missed the bitchy film critic bandwagon pretty much the second "blog-o-sphere" became a household word.

It's a shame, because you'd be good at it.

Completely unrelated, I am making chocolate chip cookies to mail to Nick's parents and just realized that with this delicious codeine in my stomach, the likelihood of them getting cookies shaped like dicks increases hugely.

I will just write "NASA" on all of them in glitter icing.

Also! talking to you makes me crave Charlie's salad like crazy.

Caesars! I think I will go there for dinner before school. Law & Ethics calls for brain food so I don't fall asleep.

Aha! Good luck to you. I think you'd do great in school. It feels like more fun than work most of the time.

I was really afraid that I'd be the oldest person there and was pleasantly surprised to find that almost everyone else in my major has 20 years on me.
