Heh. I used to live not far from Woman Hollering Creek (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Woman_Hollering_Creek) in San Antonio, which comes complete with its own La Llorona legend.

I remember that ditch. I still remember where you lived with your folks, and when you moved to Rio Rancho, and down off Central with the cool gate. It's weird the things I remember and the things I forget.
