I'm having issues with my laptop, so I also have a loaner here from mah
bohfreh. Thank goodness, or we couldn't have watched the finale of RuPaul's
Drag Race last night. Ok, we could have used my desktop, but that would have
been a pain.

Uh oh. What happened? As former owner of this laptop, I am curious.

First the battery died, then I got a new battery and the next day, the AC adapter stopped working, so the laptop can't charge the new battery. It really sucks because it's impossible to make the power cord stay totally in, so if you breathe wrong it'll shut down.

No, it's powering the computer, just not charging the battery. I think.
