I bought a pre-seasoned cast iron skillet, and it was much better than the season I put on my other one. I felt inadequate.
In other news... I've heard that it's hard to get a good 'flavor of the wok' because home stoves don't put out enough BTUs. Let us know how it goes with your cooking.
