You know, when people have asked what kind of guy I find attractive and I answer "older bald guys", I've been asked so many times if my dad or an older male relative molested me. What the hell is up with that? If a woman says she likes older, bald men, I don't think anyone will ask her the same thing.

I've been asked that outright once, and it's been joked about in roundabout ways many times (Santa's lap, dad, uncles, etc.).

In point of fact, when I was 5 I was molested by a blond, freckled, curly-haired 15 year old babysitter boy who had a scraggly boy-beard. To this day I'm totally repulsed by people who resemble him.

What really pisses me off is when people in the gay community throw the stereotypes around as well. I was talking with some chap at the bar last week and he asked me about my husband. I said "he's retired" and he went on this ignorant tirade of "Oh you're a gold digger. You're gonna pull the plug on him. Oh he only married you to become a Canadian citizen".... That kind of shit really pisses me off the most.

So I just conclude with the notion that I'm a minority in the minority.

It's probably why I have bad social anxiety disorder.
