Same state, different town. I lived in the Taos of Arkansas, Evanescence is from the Albuquerque of Arkansas.

Where are you from? I would say Eureka Springs is the Taos. Or maybe the Santa Fe. I dunno. I haven't been there in over 20 years. I think.

Fayetteville. So yeah, I guess if I wanted to be all specific n shit that Eureka would be the Taos, but believe me, the hippy "spiritual flake" factor in Fayetteville was at critical mass.

And since Little Rock is the cap of the state I didn't wanna say Fayetteville was Santa Fe.

Actually now that I think about it, The Band was based in Fayetteville for a while before they got their shit together and moved to New York.

Looking on Wikipedia I see that Lucinda Williams is from Fayetteville. So there's something.
