Not that I need any more
Apr. 11th, 2022 06:46 amI could easily go years and years without buying another t-shirt. When I wrapped up the initial run of No Repeat T-shirt Weeks, the total was 77 shirts. I guess I get more use out of them now, though, since it used to be perfectly normal to wear one a few days between washings before I changed jobs. So now they'll get worn more often and washed more often, and that'll take a toll. But with so many, is that toll even noticeable?
One thing's for sure, I don't need any new shirts. But that's not going to stop me from getting some once in a while, especially if they relate to one of my old favorite internet videos from a time when there was no such thing as streaming video. I probably saw this famous video the first time by saving several posts on a Usenet newsgroup, running them through uudecode, and then playing the file from a UNIX command line. Maybe in 1995 or so?
You also had to go through as many steps to see one picture of a naked person. Times have certainly changed! Anyway, when I saw this shirt I knew it had to be mine.

It was on sale at TeePublic so I scrolled a few pages worth of sale items and also grabbed this, plus a surprise for Garrett's birthday next month.

It's Monday morning and I need to eat breakfast and start working. But not before I watch this damn mid-season finale of The Walking Dead. When I started watching the show, I had no idea it could possibly go on so long and become a franchise. I wonder if they'll have a new show once The Walking Dead is finally over. It seems like they enjoyed having 2-3 at a time and they decided to end The World Beyond, which I liked a lot more than this one.
I'm aware I can stop watching any time but at this point I just feel the need to stay the course. And I don't hate it or anything, I'm just not super into it. But that's important! I need shows that are entertaining that I don't feel the need to pay strict attention to while I do things like write this entry.
