I made mojito popsicles last night
Aug. 28th, 2013 07:47 amThey were good. And the batch was enough to make another set, so there are some waiting for us in the freezer for tonight!

Date: 2013-08-28 06:40 pm (UTC)I tired making fennel and Pernod popsicles two summers ago, and although I followed the instructions very carefully (it was a New York Times recipe), it really just turned into a granita. Slush was as solid as they got. And believe me — I waited!

I didn't use enough hot water on two of them and the sticks came right out, leaving the popsicle behind. The other two, I was more careful with, and they came out fine. They weren't super-duper solid and had to be eaten quickly, but they weren't falling apart or anything.
